This Homemade Life {review!}

I read. A lot. I'm a link clicker and I've stumbled onto many a blog because of an intriguing headline but I have a short attention span so I rarely make my way back to a blog unless it's something really special. When I came across This Homemade Life, I knew I had found a keeper. Alison Bickle, the writer and photographer has an aesthetic that matches mine, or what mine aspires to be anyway. Her blog is filled with clean, crisp pictures and short, less is more style posts about food, her children and "finding beauty in the everyday". Noticing beauty and appreciating it is a standing intention of mine which made her writing all the more appealing to me. Without trying to be too gushy, Alison writes her blog in a way that makes life look elegant and easy and I bet if she lived closer, we would could easily hang out together.

To make a long story short, I read a post of hers that talked about a magical visit she and her family had in Boulder (where I live) and I felt called to approach her to see if she would partner with us for a giveaway. She said yes and the rest is history. She chose a Sweetheart Necklace in mixed metals and in true-to-form Alison, she wrote a lovely review about it. Take a read, enter the giveaway and spend some time there, looking at pictures and reading the stories. The giveaway is open until December 7th so hurry...
